Shree Rajiv Gandhi IAS Academy: Franchise model scheme
Vision:
The academy’s vision is to make all youngster to write and get government job through the civil services exam TNPSC exam and Railway Board, and Staff selection commission exam etc.
Mission:
The academy has been engaged in giving coaching for the following exams.
- All group exams of TNPSC like Group 1, Group 2, Group 2A, Group 4, Group 5 and all special and technical exam conducted by TNPSC
- Union public service commission – civil services exam for IAS, IPS, IFS and Group A and Group B services
- Banking, railway recruitment board, staff selection commission exams.
- Coaching class for NEET exams.
About the Academy:
This Rajiv Gandhi academy was established by Shri. V.V Moorthi an educationalist, possessed the Academic and technical Qualification like BE, MBA, BL etc.
Besides this academy he is operating a school and B.ED colleges in Krishnagiri district.
During the year 2023, Retd TN state govt cadre IAS officer Shri. Kamaraj took over as director for this academy. He possess rich experience in the administration and having vast experience in competitive exams. Under his guidance, the academy is offering coaching for all the exams.

Proposed to Franchise scheme at district level to help the sub urban students:
This Academy has proposed to give five Francise at few places in few places this year and the scheme will be extended to all Districts in the state.
The idea of Francise to give the expertise of the Rajiv Gandhi academy to other willing institutions to have agreement with our academy and get our expertise, guidance and advise to give coaching in institution at district level.
The willing institution will have to enter into agreement with Shree Rajiv Gandhi Academy and avail all facilities. The Rajiv Gandhi IAS Academy would prepare the model questions and evaluate the marks at the Institute which are coming to Franchise. The proposed Franchise will be in Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, Sholinganallur, Tambaram, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore and Salem. (First Phase)
Terms and conditions for the Franchise model:
Scope of the Rajiv Gandhi Academy
- RGA will provide all reading materials, model question papers, suggestion to engage the faculties and periodical inspections
- RGA will also supervise/inspect the class in the districts where there Francise model scheme is agreed.
- RGI will share the current affairs notes on daily basis to the Franchise institutions.
- RGA would evaluate the candidate performance in the model exam/in personal inspection
- RGA would send the brochure to all the agreed institutes
- RGA will enter into an agreement incorporating all the terms and conditions, the terms and conditions will be for five year and it will be renewed on mutual basis.
- RGA would arrange for Periodical training/interaction with the facilities of the agreed institutes at Chennai.
Financials:
The agreed institute will have to pay rupees one lakh (Rs. 1.00 Lakh) to the SRG academy for the guidance extended.The payment shall be made in advance (i.e.) at the time of entering into agreement
Scope of the institutions:
The agreed institute should have the good class room facilities including restrooms
The agreed institute will have to share the date base of candidates who are taking coaching
The agreed institute will ensure the required admission for each and every exam and RGA will assist the Institute.
The agreed institute will have to carry out the suggestions form the RGI and implement it fully on Mutual discussion.
The agreed institute will have to pay rupees one lakh (1 lakh) to the RGA for service charge.
The agreed institute will have to agree for making common advertisement for the exams on mutual basis.
The agreed institute faculties will be trained by RGA academy periodically.
The agreed institute personnel should come for monthly meeting done by RGA academy, Chennai.
General:
All the above terms and conditions could be mutually discussed and agreed upon.
The agreement will be executed between the RGA academy and agreed institute (Franchise)
