LIC AAO Prelims Exam Pattern

  • The Preliminary Examination consists of Objective Tests for 100 marks which are conducted online. There are 20 minutes for each subject which means a total of 1 hour. Candidates have to qualify for the objective test by clearing the cut-off to be decided by the officials of the LIC. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the LIC will be shortlisted for the Mains Examination.
  • English Language section is qualifying in nature.

LIC AAO Mains Exam Pattern 

LIC AAO Mains Examination consists of Objective Tests for 325 marks and there will be a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes. There will be sectional timings for each section. The below table shows the detailed pattern of the LIC AAO Mains Examination.

Objective Type Paper: 300 marks LIC AAO Mains Examination consists of two papers.

Descriptive paper – 25 marks
