The SSC CHSL exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit candidates who have passed 10+2 (HSC) for Group C posts in various central government ministries and departments.

🧾 SSC CHSL Exam Pattern

There are two stages:

✅ Tier I – Computer-Based Exam (CBT)

• Type: Objective (MCQ)
• Duration: 1 Hour
• Negative Marking: 0.50 marks for each wrong answer
• Total Marks: 200

Tier II – Skill Test / Typing Test

• Qualifying in nature
• Skill Test for DEO (Data Entry Operator):
• 8,000 key depressions/hour (on computer)
• For DEO in CAG: 15,000 key depressions/hour
• Typing Test for LDC / JSA / PA / SA:
• English – 35 words/min OR
• Hindi – 30 words/min
• Duration: 10 minutes
